We are three pupils of the secondary school Marc Bloch de Val de Reuil, in first Scientist. The first subject which had most pleased us was " the cloning ". Regrettably, it had already been chosen, thus one filtered in on the genetic alteration, the subjects which, after all, got closer rather strictly from the point of view of the biology.
Our supervised personal Works consist in major left genetic and chemical theory. But we knew also how to insert an experiment which showed itself rather long.
The genetic alteration is the origin of the evolution in time since the creation of the life. It takes place at the level of the DNA and can occur in a natural way or by mutagènes agents. In a natural way, his main factors were the radioactivity and the radiation of the ultraviolet.
In this statement, we are exactly going to explain more the causes and the consequences of these alterations. We shall begin by defining the various types of alterations and then, returning at the origin of the alteration to explain the progress in a clearer way. As for the alteration by agent mutagène, we shall limit ourselves to the electromagnetic radiations and to the ionizations made on the nitrogenous bases of the DNA.
